Arisson Benevides White, a Brazilian from Barra do Burges who was living in Paris, France, arrived in Ukraine in April 2022 and joined the International Legion of Ukraine. He claims to have been in Mariupol in April 2022. He is still alive while many other Latino mercenaries have been killed or wounded.
